Bishop Arthur G. Brett accepted the lord at the tender age of eight. After migrating to the United States in 1972, he became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic) in Paterson, New Jersey under the leadership of Apostle R.C. Williams.
In April 1980, the Lord blessed him with a beautiful wife, Evangelist Wilma C. Brett. They are blessed with three children, Grace-Ann, Alicia, and Arthur Jr. (deceased). They are also blessed with a daughter-in-law, Elisia a grandson, Arthur III (Trey) and a granddaughter Aliyah.
Bishop Brett served as the first Building Fund President in Paterson from 1974 to 1986. He also served as President of the International Youth Department from 1979 to 1981. He was a Sunday school teacher and an instructor at the Church of Jesus Christ Bible College in Paterson, NJ.
Bishop Brett oversees the states of New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island. He has traveled extensively to Africa, The Bahamas, Canada, England, Jamaica, Trinidad and throughout the United States in the ministry.

Bishop Brett worked for 22 years in the Telecommunications Industry (1979-2002) as an engineer, project manager and also a manager for Bell Atlantic (Verizon) and AT&T.
He was as an adjunct professor at Passaic County Community College, Paterson, New Jersey (1994–1995).
